Airports

The Washington Metro Area has three major airports:

  • Reagan National Airport (DCA) - 35 min by taxi to hotel
  • Dulles International Airport (IAD) - 40 min by taxi to hotel
  • Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) - 50 min by taxi to hotel

Taking the Metrorail

Metrorail service is available from Washington's National Airport and from Union Station (railway). From National Airport take Metro’s Blue Line to Metro Center.  At Metro Center transfer to the Red Line train towards Shady Grove.  Exit at the Twinbrook Metro Station.  The host hotel is adjacent to the Metro station.

If you arrived in Washington, DC by rail at Union Station, take the Red Line train towards Shady Grove to the Twinbrook Metro Station.  The host hotel is adjacent to the Metro Station.

Driving Directions to Hotel from Local Airports

  • From Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI)
    Take the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (MD-295 S) toward Washington, DC for 18 miles. At I-495 (Capital Beltway), head west toward Silver Spring/Bethesda. From the Beltway (I-495), take Exit 34, Rt. 355 (Wisconsin Ave./Rockville Pike).  Continue on Rockville Pike for 3 miles to the host hotel.
  • From Dulles International Airport
    Head east on the Dulles Airport Access Road for approximately 13 miles. Exit onto I-495 (Capital Beltway), heading north to Bethesda/Baltimore. From I-495 merge onto I-270 N, go approximately 3 miles, then take Exit 4A, Montrose Rd.  Follow Montrose Rd for 1 mile and turn left at E Jefferson St.  Turn right at Rollins Ave, followed by another left on Rockville Pike.  Continue 0.2 miles down Rockville Pike to the host hotel.
  • From Ronald Reagan National Airport
    Head North on the George Washington Parkway for approximately 12 miles. Exit onto I-495 (Capital Beltway), heading north to Maryland. From I-495 merge onto I-270 N, go approximately 3 miles, then take Exit 4A, Montrose Rd.  Follow Montrose Rd for 1 mile and turn left at E Jefferson St.  Turn right at Rollins Ave, followed by another left on Rockville Pike.  Continue 0.2 miles down Rockville Pike to the host hotel.
